"Roy Jones, The Old Fart of My Life"

Anybody here paying $49.50 for this garbage?

Joe, where's the thrill of outslapping a 40 year old who's been KTFO by unexceptional boxers?

This fight made sense in 1998 - not 2008.
The fruit rotted on this vine long ago...and it stinks.

Calzaghe is a *****, no one likes him anymore except the few thousand who live in tiny ass wales. He obviously doesn't give a **** about how he goes down in history books. Joe shows his true colors now and its all green and thats about it.

HAHA, I told you guys. Joe ducked Pavlik and not many agreed with me, and now it is as clear as it can be. Can you deny it now? Roy Jones the fight of his life? Who does he think he is kidding? It would be like Wlad calling Tyson out and saying it would be the fight of his life. This is a complete disgrace, I hope Roy pulls of a miracle and shaves 5 years off his life and knocks this joke out.

You know, maybe I'm being a bit harsh. BUT! At least he could admit to it instead of trying to fill us full of bull****. We all know Jones offers more money, MAYBE. A Pavlik fight would get more buys from true boxing fans. The only people that will buy a Jones/Calzaghe fight are casual fans that recognize the name of RJJ and will throw a kegger and buy the fight. The only real reason a real boxing fan will buy this fight is to see it in hopes that RJJ pulls off a miracle. We all know the real reason he is taking this fight. Before when he just said he would fight Jones then maybe Pavlik when he got more popular you could almost make an argument for him. But now saying that he will retire after Jones!!!! A complete and utter duck!

              TY bro!

And another thing I forgot to mention. There is no way you can make an argument for Roy in this fight. I love Roy just as much as anyone but, what has he done since 2003? Beat a blown up and past prime WW in Trinidad? Pulled off an unimpressive win over Hanshaw?

The age difference is not that much between Jones and Joe, but what IS different is mileage. Joe shows that he is still at least almost as good as he ever was. Roy shows that he is nowhere near what he used to be. Roy Jones did a lot in his career in various weight classes. Had more natural ability than probably anybody in the sport in history. But that is mostly gone now.

This **** almost makes me disgusted enough not to watch boxing for while. I know I definately will NOT be watching this fight. In doing so I would only support this guy.

Totally agree... The way this column is titled, it seems Joe wants a washed up Jones to **** him... hahaha...
He would slap RJJ to victory on this one... RJJ, hasnt fought anyone like Joe... he will be surprised that he will get the slappin' of his life... hahahaha...
I wont buy this crap... its a good thing that he will retire, we dont need "gay" boxers... still waiting for Jones to make his announcement on his impending retirement...
Seriously, I want RJJ to win this one... I dont like seeing a boxers using the palm of his hands when fighting... maybe he got used to jerking off somebody's ****... hahaha...

Wow. Now this is something I don't see very often(credible posters bashing joe Calzaghe) and I can't blame them.

First it's Mayweather not fighting the guy everyone wants him to, and now Calzaghe. This isn't looking good.
