    So did Oscar lose?

He was clearly beaten by Floyd,he would have been beaten again in the rematch. He wanted a bigger chunk of the money in the rematch,'because I'm Oscar'.Floyd wanted half of the purse 'because I beat you,I'm the Champ and the name Floyd brings PPV'.

No agreement ,so Floyd retires, talk about battle of egos.

Now Oscar cant fight 3 times as originally planned.Whoever Oscar fights, the fight wont make as much money as Floyd was going to bring,so whichever way Oscar lost.

Was Oscar Justified in demanding a bigger purse than Floyd?

Oscar loses because his options are now Pacquiao and Hatton. Why not fight Ponce de Leon, Goldie?

If Margarito is too much for Cotto, Oscar is ****ed. I don't think Oscar has the mobility, slickness and stamina to outpoint Tony.

DLH is the draw here, not Mayweather. DLH only loses in the ring, not the monetary war.

Mayweather hasn't drawn 500k in PPVs without DLH or Hatton. However, DLH has done so without Floyd.

If Cotto beats Margo, you can probably bet that his next fight will be DLH in December.

It was nothing clear about the first fight, many people, including 1 judge gave the fight to ODLH.

Oscar runs the show.. no matter if you won or how much you won by, Oscar is the bigger draw and the one who puts the most seats in the arena and gets the most viewers on PPV.
If you can't understand that then you have no common sense.

Oscar would have lost again anyway.. the fight was pointless to make.
Oscar should fight Cotto to get his name out there and if he wins he could face Mayweather and make the fight much bigger.

Oscar could unretire Mike for a fight with him and still hold the bargaining chips.

As far as money, they both lose.

As far as legacy, Oscar loses. A win over Mayweather would be huge. Another win over DLH does nothing for Mayweather.

In the end the people who won were the fans who didn't want to see this fight happen again.
