Jones was/is afraid of getting hurt/knocked out again. But I hope his confidence has grown since the Trinidad fight, and I hope he knows and realizes he is in NO danger of getting knocked out.

*stands back and watches the mastepiece*

        do it for boxing roy!

That's hilarious. The only highlight they could provide for Calzaghe was him throwing a low blow and his mock hump.

            Just some thoughts of mine.........

Jones Vs Hanshaw Video: Watch those last 2 rounds and you will see why I say Roy fighting off the ropes is good for him to counter. He will not want to spend a lot of time on them BUT he will be effective against Joe's windmill "pressure".......

Some Boxing scene logic: History tells me (by many "people" on here) that if you're undefeated that makes you a "good" fighter. Lets look at something here.

Lacy: undefeated and had never been tested or had any solid wins over any top fighters until joe fought him.

Kessler: Undefeated and never been tested or had any solid wins over any top solid fighters until Joe fought him.

            As logic has it that would mean Jones win over Toney Hanshaw was a BIG deal too right??????? Lets see;

Hanshaw: Undefeated (when he fought jones) never been tested or had any solid wins over any top fighters until he faced Roy....

Sound familiar? Crazy how that works......

Only thing is Joe and many others HYPED Lacy and kessler. Both had the same credentials as Hanshaw (undefeated, young and had belts) So another words they were **** right? Anyway that is BS and I dont believe Handshaw is on the same level as Lacy or Kessler. I just wondered If anyone noticed how similar on paper they where. But overall point was, Jones had a SOLID win over Hanshaw and Trinidad who I'm sure hits harder than Calzaghe.

Don't get it twisted though. Everyone talks a big game about the Trinidad fight and how Roy didn't move and just stood there. IMO that was Roy just figuring thats all he needed to do (was stand there). I think Jones knows exactly how to defeat Calzaghe.

The HBO clip pretty much speaks for the fight: Boring.......

1st round KD: That was a FLUSH shot, watch joe's head. "People" tend to lie to themselves and state he was off balance. Anyone would be off balance when hit in the face like that. Solid shot that put him down easy.

7th round: The Perfect example of how Roy jones can get a KD(s). Jones speed will dominate his windmills. Off balance or not. 7th round: "Calzaghe was almost knocked down again" (From throwing windmills). FACT!

8th round: Just proves Calzaghe will get hit easy by jones if he acts careless.

10th round: A CLEAR "low blow" and shows he likes to bend men over. Must be a Wales thing. I don't know. Someone should raise the question to Mr. Calzaghe himself.

12th round: Shows a 43 year old B-HOP smiling (because he's tired right?) and Joe Calzaghe both raising there hands as if they both won.

You can watch clips of Tarver III, Handshaw and Trinidad fights and you will see Roy Jones jr can handle pressure from harder hitting fighters just fine.

Point being don't fool yourself on thinking this is a cake walk for Joe Calzaghe. "At the end of the day" Roy Jones jr has his confidence back and he will NOT be gun shy. Believe what you want. This fight will be closer than you think.

I with you! Lacy and Keesler were considered to be "TOUGH!" I gave Joe enough props to know he would beat Lacy and Keesler, but Keesler gave a really good fight just not enough heart. I think we will see alot from Keesler but Lacy is done.
Hanshaw isnt as good as those 2 but was better than average at the time. He was only considered a tune up fight for things to come. Roy rope a doped him all night. I think Roy will do the same if Joe is reckless, and I don't think it will take long for them to figure out Jones isn't that washed up.
