After all if some posters are willing to dismiss Kessler as "not in his prime" because he will "peak in a year" then there are no limits to the depths of xenophobia that some fat yanks will plumb.

Nobody would call Taylor a weak champ, although some call him undeserving, I think weak is hardly the word to describe him. and Miranda is a big name who came very close to being IBF Middleweigt champ, if the ref wasn't such a douschebag. This is a really dumb post with Euro bias written all over it.

Taylor was a weak champion. He didn't even look confident in his own victory when he got the decision over Hopkins. He looked timid against Corey Stinks. He was bullied around the ring by Kassim Ouma. He was lucky to get a draw with Winky Wright who in my opinion would have won but took too many rounds off. It's no coincidence that the first full size middleweight he faced as champion starched him. It's not that Pavlik is an outstanding talent. He's good but he isn't outstanding. It's just that Pavlik got there first. I would pick Miranda and Abraham over Taylor as well as Pavlik.

Let's be honest Jermaine got a lot of mileage out of defeating "Legendary" Bernard Hopkins but when you're compiling your list of the top ten Middleweight champions in history, is he going to be on it?

I'm not a "Euro" I'm British. Kelly "better than Jermain Taylor" Pavlik is alright but if Calzaghe were to fight and beat him you know as well as I do that the very objections to the guy he defeated would be quoted by yanks as gospel.

He will. He's just going to fight Roy first.

Why do pricks like you always say "euro" as if it's one country?

Do you really think people in Sweden give a **** about the difference between Joe and Moby?

            **** off.

Pavlik already destroyed Miranda. Pavlik was pushing hard to fight Calzaghe, came straight from Warren's mouth, and Joe blatantly ducked him. I don't blame the guy I would fight an easier fight with Roy for big bucks, remain undefeated, and take my undefeated kindergarden record into the history books so my nuthugging, biased fans can suck my balls. If you like a young, hard nosed fighter who throws hard punches then Pavlik is your guy. If you like a volume puncher who throws wide angle slaps and has fought nobody, Joe Calzaghe is your guy. The Brits don't really put out any good athletes other than soccer/cricket players. Your olympic medal count is ****ing pathetic and has been for a long time. Keep hanging on to Joe.

We dont always win because we actually compete in events the whole world plays. You guys just make your own sports, dont let anyone else from the world play, and then when surprise surprise an American wins you name him/them world champions. Then when you do compete against the world i.e Track & field you roid them up. I wonder how many of them golds you've won in the last 20 years were from people whom were later found out to have been on roids? Quite a ****ing lot!

Coming from the guy who only starts threads with nationalistic bull****, albeit in a more sarcastic, occasoinally funny manner. When you stop saying fat yank in every thread I'll stop ripping on Joe Calzaghe.
