DLH wont fight Margarito for the same reason Floyd didn't

Obviously, one reason is because Margo is not yet a BIG name, but the other reason is because it would not be an attractive win for.

there is no question floyd has the tools and gifts to beat the taller, bigger fighter. but for Floyd, it would be a fight where he would have to do the moonwalk for 12 rounds straight. it would be another performance like the baldomir fight and at this stage, boring ass win wouldn't do anything but hurt his marketability.

its the same with DLH. would DLH really be able to hurt Margarito? i doubt DLH would be doing a lot of back peddling, but if he can't hurt Margo, he IS going to be doing SOME. would you want to engage in a fight where it seems like you aren't doing any damage to your opponents?

basically, its a fight where they wouldn't look good regardless of winning.

Margarito sucks. If Mayweather and Oscar can't outbox this slow ass, telegraphing punches joke of a boxer, then it's definitely time to retire.

I like Margarito but Floyd is too damn slick for him. Floyd would probably look really good timing him coming and in and out. Floyd is also really underrated on the inside.

Sure Margs would make Floyd work, but you just might see Marg discouraged for the first time in his career because of Floyd's speed.

It's a moot point now, as this fight (sadly) will never happen. I thought for sure when Floyd was offered 8 million for it, it would go down. But Floyd held out and got the Oscar money so we missed seeing floyd take on the best welters.

Tony is a counterpuncher's wet dream.

        All squared-up..

        SLOW..

All his weight on the front foot..

        Predictable..

        No head movement.

        No straight punches

Keeps his MOUTH WIDE OPEN FROM ROUND 1..

Keeps his elbows too far from his ribs..

        Overrated chin..

        Overrated power..

Has to be set to punch..

There's no reason Floyd would have to back peddle all night..he can stay in the pocket with him because he has to be set.

Sr was right..that would be Gatti all over again..a massacre.

You think Oscar or Floyd can't hurt Tony..BUT YOU'RE WRONG..They would **** him up..badly..too many CLEAN punches he wouldn't see.

whats the difference between Margarito's style and Baldomir's? Baldomir may actually have been slower than Margo. Floyd doesn't take risks against bigger opponents and we've seen this with Baldomir and De La Hoya. What was the results of those fights? A win, but not ones for the cooler.

There's PLENTY difference between Baldo and Tony

1.Baldomir does not have to be set to punch..If you stand in the pocket HE'LL HIT YOU..ask Judah.

              2.Baldomir punches straighter than Tony.

3.Baldomir comes in LOWER(often firing sneaky rights over the top) than Tony.

Floyd took PLENTY risks against Baldo and Oscar

Look at Baldomir's face after the Floyd bout..Running doesn't do that to a guy's face..

Floyd fought Oscar OFF THE ROPES..that's risky..PLENTY risky

              Not only that.

He fought Hoya IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING..risky risky..

It was OSCAR that was afraid to fire when he realized Floyd CAN HURT HIM.

Oscar slowed down noticably in the late rounds against Floyd. You can tell he was frustrated because Floyd was too quick for him and potshotted him basically at will late in the fight.

Both won't fight Margarito for the same reason,

Tony kicks both of their asses!
