holyfield is just like any fighter within his weight class is ranked as a heavyweight, i dont understand how you bring cruiserweights. holyfiled is ranked separately as a cruiserweight

give me a great heavyweight name...GO

Instead of answering my question and admitting that Tyson has not beaten a great fighter who was in their prime, prospect is trying his best to flip the script and ask me the same question. Even though i answered the question, he continues babling about Foreman being old, even though he beat a guy that was almost 2 decades younger than him who was unbeaten, coming off of a win over Holyfield and held two of the major heavyweight titles. I am really enjoying this.

You don't know what happened there as well, we can only judge from third person accounts.

And by most accounts, Tyson didn't want to fight them.

Qawi 5'5" cruiserweight...enough said. The only person Moorer beat in his ascension was Holyfield right before he was embarrassingly knocked out against the plodding grandfather, Foreman. Moorer notably has one of the worst chins of any champion in the history of the heavyweight division. Stop with your bull****.

He had the skills to be one of the greatest, if not the greatest of all time. But mental deficincies stopped him from achieving this.

He lost concentration too easy and got bored after a few rounds, neglecting his awesome skills and resorting to throwing single bombs and rushing straight in. His defense was suddenly non existant and so was his probing offense.

His biggest weakness was confidence and if someone managed to take his punches and fire back this affected him big time.

Even as a 14 yr old amatuer he was pounding men and in one particular fight he kept knocking this one guy down. His opponent kept getting up, and although not having Tyson in trouble but just because he showed heart and no fear this affected him. Tyson tried quitting on his stool between rounds claiming injury. Atlas said he did this after all 3 rounds. Tyson won and got a decision.

His boxing knowledge was incredible, having studied so many fights, but when it came down to it, he could never work out what he had to do when things got difficult.

He was always a man though and took his punishment like a man.

Tyson should have been so much better and achieved so much more than he actually did. Had he the heart and mental attitude of Holyfield or Ali he could have been the greatest of all time.
Totally agree with this post and i think the early tyson didnt duck anybody but then the older tyson was all about money.

Buddy, no argument is occurring. You think Michael Moorer is a legitimate win. I know people our age use BoxRec as a tool when arguing about the history of the sport, but you need to let that website stop blinding you. Michael Moorer is one of the worst champions in recent memory. Ole grandpa Foreman is a joke. Holyfield's best win is a very good Rid**** Bowe, along with Tyson. Those are the only two resume highlights that Holyfield owns.
