    Was this a smart bet?

I just bet $80 to win $136 on Edison "Pantera" Miranda to beat Arthur, the self proclaimed "King of Nothing in Particular" Abraham. Was that good odds( a little less than 2 to 1 , or in Vegas, -170,for those with brain abnormalities) or was I better off getting 4 lap dances?

Did you bet it online? I'm sure you could have gotten really decent odds on an outcome prop. ie. Miranda by KO/TKO.

I did, I bet at bodog on most fights, those were the odds they gave, they been the same for a while. Usually Bodog is good with Odds. The only place I'd say is better is Sportsbook. And I usually just bet on the fight, I never have any luck with the damn prop bets, except this years super bowl, where I cleaned up.

No offense, but Bodog has **** odds. And Sportsbook has been taking forever to pay up when you cash out. For boxing/mma bets, you cannot, and will not ever find a better sportsbook than 5dimes.

I picked 'I like lap dances' because I do, however I wouldn't call it a good or bad bet. Personally I thought it would be straight money for both fighters.....So yes I would bet on Miranda if they were paying more than you have to bet.....aka if he was the underdog. Abraham is quick and landed alot on Miranda but I have to believe Miranda would have won had it not been for all those crazy point deductions in Germany......Also he did win anywhere else on gods green earth because when a fighter says they don't want to continue the ref usually stops it without informing the fighter, trainer and promotor that the fight would be ruled a TKO victory. anyway I'd throw a grand on Miranda to win roughly 1400......if I knew where to do it. bodogs odds suck and I haven't bet on the net since the shut down Pinnacle to U.S. customers.

Well Bodog takes all types of credit cards as well as Pay Pal, I don't wanna seem like I'm promoting em though, honestly what sites people use is up to them. I will say with the odds i got, u will win 1700 on a 1000 bet, better than 1400 on 1000 bet.

I took Miranda at +205 when the fight was first listed. The location and the higher weight gives him a big edge.
