No disrespect of course, just wondering based on his resume.

You find a 5'6" guy who can compete and win against the Lt heavy's and cruisers and win titles in both. My Avatar Rocks!!

He beat Matthew Muhammad X2, Eddie Davis etc and fought Spinks and Holyfield to close tough fights.

He beat and lost to some great fighters, he was right in the mix while being 5'5 1/2"

Good observation, I didnt realize he was that short until I saw on boxrec he was 5'5 and a half. Hard to believe he is that short.

          Eddie Davis never beat anyone.

Qawi wasn't the most skilled or physically gifted fighter ever, but he was tough as nails and always made an exciting affair of it.

His two best wins at 175 were against Matthew Saad Muhammad, who was sorta like the Arturo Gatti of that generation. Anyways Saad Muhammad was finished by that time and as expected Qawi lost in the unification fight to the much taller Spinks.

Even with his diminutive height he was able to grab a title at cruiserweight and defended it successfully a few times.

His first fight with Evander Holyfield is universally seen as the greatest cruiserweight fight of all time.

Though I agree he is one of the weaker HOFers, he's not the worst.

He beat Leon Spinks and Saad Muhammad all whilst being a midget. He was a cruiserweight that managed to lose an SD to Holyfield, he stood around 5,5 or 5,6 i can't remember.

Umm Leon Spinks isnt anything to brag about, also that was Holyfield's 12th pro fight. Very weak HOF inductee it seems but I havent seen him in action much and sometimes seeing is believing but based on resume it seems kinda weak.

He gets in because standards are lower for modern fighters by way of voters who are too parochial. Good fighter, but there's more than a few that should have gone in well before he got a nod.
