I agree, if Mayorga thought an inactive DLH gave him a serious beating, he's in for a rude awakening (more like a coma) if he fights Pavlik.

Pavlik's taking the path of the old school greats: fight whoever, whenever, and stay active. Sure, he could hope for a fight with Winky Wright or Arthur Abraham, but the negotiations for high-profile fights simply take longer. Get Pavlik on free-tv and/or HBO as often as possible so his name becomes household, and fight 3-4 times a year instead of once like a lot of champs today.

After seeing what Pavlik did to Miranda, who thinks Mayorga will stand a chance......Pavlik will walk him down and knock him right the fk out!!! I personally feel he'll come very close to KILLING him, there's no way Mayorga should even think about setting foot in the ring with Pavlik......It's a very pointless fight......Hey Winky Wright is calling everyone out, why not give hima shot, that's a more valid fight than watching Kelly KILL Mayorga....If Pavlik was willing to take on Calzaghe in his next fight, then let him fight Winky..........WE've seen Mayorga enough times already, we know what would happen.......Let's make good competitive fights!!!! If you go right at Mayorga with straight punches he can't deal with that. Mayorga never grew as a fighter.

The fight would be entertaining for however long it would last. The pre-fight buildup would be great. I don't think it would be good at all for Mayorga. You gotta give to him though. He will fight anybody.

Nothing will be entertaining about this fight but the press conference. The match up will be nothing but a vicous beating handed out by Pavlik. This might end of being Mayorga's last fight as he will be brutally knocked out. Mayorga should be at junior middleweight fighting guys that he actually has a shot at beating.
