It is a misquote, or it got lost somewhere, but he didn't say it.

The article saying he did quotes BBC Sport, which quotes Joe's own column in the South Wales Argus.

I read the South Wales Argus in work today, and paid particular attention to Joe's column.

He did not say he wouldn't fight Pavlik, this is bull****.

He said it is unlikely, but he also said he will never fight Kessler.

There is also no mention of this on the Sports Network website. Frank Warren, for all his faults, keeps his site up to date to the hour pretty much. If this was really said, it would be on there.

Either Roy will price himself out, and Kelly will get the call up, or Joe will fight and beat them both.

I like Pavlik he is exciting, powerfull full of heart and all that **** but at the end of the day he is a limited fighter in terms of skill, Zag would figure him out quickly and beat him down.

All I see on the board at the moment is how Joe has ducked Pavlik because he is scared.

Was he scared of Lacy? Scared of Kessler?

They had just as much legitimate claim to beating him as Pavlik does now, and were both noted punchers also.

The scared arguement doesn't wash, not at all.

Joe still hasn't ruled out a Pavlik fight though, the article is wrong.
