    Lewis v Holyfield 1 - the aftermath

    Just watched some vids on youtube interviewing both fighters, the judges, discussing the fight, reviewing stat's n'all. Just how many people really thought Holyfield won that fight, I mean really? Pretty much everyone ringside had Lewis winning, the south african judge and most commentators by a big margin. All pretty much bar the English judge scoring draw, whom on watching it back was decent enough to admit a mistake and say Lewis won.

    In this review Holyfield seemed a little shifty, dodging questions of whom you thought win just saying it's for the judges, as if to me he thought he lost but wasn't going to say. Even the American panel seemed to agree, pointing out all those ringside and the public regarded Lennox the HW champ.

    They even said it smelt like an organisation had paid the local judge to favour the local judge, in not so many, (but pretty close to) words. The American judge who scored a Holyfield win was extremely shifty and nervous unlike anyone else on the program. She didn't answer any question with much passion to redeem herself, instead short answers that did not make sense or justify her scoring. Did she work in boxing again, much? Interested in peoples thoughts, views, info, insights, predictions, what's if's etc.

    The 3 review vids;

    People don't care about real boxing. Had you created a thread about racism, Mayweather, Cotto or the next big fight, they would have swarmed in. Sad but true. On the topic i have no oppinion, i was very young when Lewis, Tyson and Hollifield ruled and lost interest in the division since Lewis retired. I did not see that fight.

      yea I'm surprised none of these so called ''expert'' esb members are responding to this thread.
      Because this is a real interesting subject, and Lewis clearly did get robbed.
      As for that female judge, she had no idea.
      Giving simple short answers that meant nothing and coulnd't defend herself for sht.
      Those youtube clips were very entertaining.Especially the last bit where they throw the belts in the bin.
      That's classic..very funny
