Why is Floyd Mayweather rated as a Super Featherweight?

IMO he should be rated at Lightweight in the alltime rankings, what do you guys think?

He is ranked #1 of alltime in the boxrec Super featherweight rankings

i just think lightweight was a more better weight for him even though he dominated 130 i personally think he should be rated as a lightweight not super featherweight

    Uhh, no.

He had four fights at LW, and one is considered pretty controversial.

Jesus Chavez did the best against him at 130, and I don't think that fight was all that close. He beat Corrales in extremely one-sided fashion.

Floyd's best work was done at 130 for sure.

130 is his overall best body of work for sure and where he would be rated by a computer. 135 or 140 might have been potentially better but he is much less proven, so i agree with ranking him at 130 if you can only rank him in 1 class.

But he wouldn't even rank in the top 10 all time at LW by boxrec.

I think they put him in the right spot for rankings.

Uhhh, he landed more punches than Diego Corrales threw. That was the undefeated P4P #5 Corrales too.

He really wasn't though. He never had anyone take a 10 count once he won the WBC 130 pound belt. He was okay as a puncher, but never a big puncher.
