It was a good stoppage in my opinion. Powell was clearly hurt even a round before with unsteady legs and relatively zero defense. Don't buy it for one second that he was playing possum.

He was definitely hurt. I was yelling at Teddy for being an idiot as it was unfolding. They didn't even show the punch that hurt him in any of the replays though. It was a big left that seemed to knock him out on his feet for the smallest fraction of a second before he came to his wits and backed into the ropes. He then circled around to the corner and got beat a bit more and then the ref stopped it. Joe tried to call the big shot but Teddy wouldn't shut the **** up.
