That was brutal. Yeah no doubt kimbo would get owned like that dude but so would most mma fighters. I don't understand why so much hate for kimbo, he's never said he's the best or anything, he is just paying bills (not with skill though) and he's a nice guy and all. Yes he's been a bit protected you could argue but he's only in his 4th professional mma fight so bare with him. Some boxers like Joe Calzaghe are 36 and STILL protected. Kimbo is also 34 but he's a newbie in mma, like Randy Couture, he also started late.

there is a huge difference, take the gloves off of a fighter and have them fight bareknuckle, they wouldn't be throwing punches the same way, gloves change everything, they allow you to load up on punches and swing for the fences, without gloves punches need to be thrown different, you have to protect your hands, so in this case, cooper has the advantage since they're fighting within his comfort zone of the rules, although he did light old boy up, bareknuckle vs golves, completly different beast. and that is one of many reasons why kimbo wouldn't and won't step into a boxing ring.

I was at that fight in Nanaimo! LMAO! I live in Victoria.

Cooper hit him with a jab and dazed him...Bert lowered his gloves and kinda looked at the guy as if to say WTF!?! then he got a big smile on his face and tucked his gloves in close to his chin! came in kinda head bobbin Joe fraizer style and caught him with a hook! KA-CHING! The second time his hit him he went staight down face first! didnt even put up his arms!! I laughed my ****ing ass off!!..
Before the fight I was talking to the guy and asked him if he knew anything about Bert Cooper. He said " Ez got an head, two arms, an art (heart), thats all i need ta know." I turned to by buddy and said
"20 bucks says he doesnt make it out of the round!" the guy ****in glared at me!.. He ws pretty big. I was 6'4" and 277 he was about 6'2 or so and 230 but not muscular. I seem to remember before the fight (maybe its on the tape) he was doing like standing spring ups or something and seemed like he could jump quite high! I was ****ing laughing like mad! Mind you Im a big bastard and i was drunk!
