    Handspeed Roy by a mile
Power both good but Roy edges it at middleweight
    Footspeed Roy
    Reflexes Roy
Style Bonus Hagler, style doesn't make fights, but they got an influence
Chin Hagler, but at middleweight Hagler can't hurt Roy either
    Defense Roy
    Showboating Roy, just kidding

At age 33 Hagler lost a close decision to the welterweight Ray Leonard
Roy's the naturally bigger man and also taller, he dances to a points victory

Roy Jones Jr 116 - 112 Marvelous Marvin Hagler

It doesn't matter. Hagler has beaten people of all styles, and of course he can KO Jones.

He can, but will he? Roy's chin holds up at middleweight and his reflexes were amazing

Is that why he was so clever to switch orthodox against Ray Leonard which cost him some of the early rounds and led to his loss?
Of all Hagler's opponents Ray Leonard is the nearest thing to Roy's style.

That's why I gave some rounds to Hagler, Roy will be at the ropes, but in his youth his legs were quick enough to avoid them. Roy went to the ropes only late in his career when his legs were gone to rest and against Bryan Brannon, but he didn't take that kid serious and ko'ed him early.

At 168, I'd give it to Roy. But at 160, Roy was far too green to deal with someone like Hagler.

at 168, id take roy over just about anyone... that might seem nuthuggerish to some... but i think he realistically has the edge ovr anyone at that weight...
