I was wathcing several of Cotto's fights recently and he has some of the most incredibly orchestrated combinations that I have seen in a while. 4-5-6 punch combinations.

Margarito throws so many punches that all it does is leave him open to get hit. Margarito has never faced a fighter with the ring generalship that Cotto posseses. Cotto can fight forward, backwards, southpaw etc... Margarito just like Cotto is in for the most difficult and punishing fight of his life.
Cotto has never faced a williams or margs type of style of fighting. Margs covers up very well. Cotto is the better technical fighter, but he lacks a big right hand. Those combinations will land early, but i'm guessing is that they won't land clean, and that they won't hurt margs as he constantly trucks in. Margs has faced a man with great ring generalship. He lost to that man. Styles make fights. I think cotto is going to find out what it is like to be in a true give and take long drawn out fight. If he wins, he will have gained my full respect.

To me the main questions that will be answered in this fight are going to be:

        1) Can Tony be shaken? Because some of the things Cotto will land on him will be huge...

        2) How slippery and versatile can Cotto be? Because he will certainly need it here, he cant stand and trade, he will need defense and movement

Does anyone else thinks that is this the best matchup at 147 and above in a LONG time?

One can strongly argue that Cotto is much more versatile than Paul Williams and that will cause trouble for Margarito. One must also acknowledge that Cotto has more power than Williams.

Margo will win. Simple and basic common sense.

                  Cotto's power is overrated.

No, he isn't MUCH more versatile. What do we even mean by versatile? As far as power, it looks like cotto hits harder, but i truly don't know. I can't gauge their power. when both came against guys with good chin, both won decisions. Williams too Quintana out in 1. It took cotto 5. That doesn't tell me williams hits harder. I just don't know.
