That sounds like a fight that would be more interesting for the people to see than a Roy Jones fight with Kelly. So, Kelly would fight Winky Wright, if we could do it econimically.
Interviewer : According to Winky, Golden Boy and Winky were willing to offer Top Rank $4,000,000 to fight Pavlik in Youngstown. How much more than that would it take to get the fight done?
The Bobfather: The truth is that that's bull****. Besides, we're Pavlik's promoter. No one is offering that kind of money. If Jim Wilkes calls me, we'll do the offering to Winky Wright, because Kelly is the champion. And throwing around these numbers is total bologna. Richard Shaeffer, whoever represents Winky, is not throwing money that he's not getting from HBO. I know what money is available. If Jim Wilkes calls me, I'll tell him what available from HBO and see if the match can be made. Our first priority is to fight Calzaghe. If that fight isn't happening, and Winky Wright is available and doesn't price himself out, there's no reason why Kelly wouldn't fight Winky is September.

So does it means the so-called $8 million he "offered" Mayweather to fight Margarito was bogus?? Does it means Mayweather has to offer Margarito the fight and not the other way round? Does it mean There is NO way HBO would have never have offer that kind of money for a Mayweather/Margarito fight?
He really complicate alot of stuff he says sometimes but maybe am wrong.
