If what the PBFloydians say is true about Floyd coming back.............
Why are they hating on Cotto/DLH? So Floyd all of a sudden is going to actually give Cotto a look now? **** outta here you contradictory, hypocritical lying sumavabeeshes. You dudes say Cotto gotta raise his PPV game up, but you don't want him to do it against Mayorga or De La Hoya who are really the only other PPV fighters within his range that can help him do this.
Stop being hypocritical for once.
That's what you haters said when Floyd fought him.
Man you mofos are sad.
Mayweather has given you mofos brain damage.Comment

I don't know ONE person who was opposed to the first DLH vs Mayweather fight.. I do know many who are opposed to the rematch however. If you can't see why a rematch is different then DLH vs. Cotto then you are a biased nuthugger.Comment

dlh is old and washed up and this fight is only to give cotto some exposure just like mayweather got. use some plain and basic common sense WILL YA??Comment

This will do nothing for Cotto's career and DLH IS OLD AND WASHED UP.. but it will get him the recognition he needs for a Mayweather fight.
I think y'all don't want to see past this fight for the real fight it's supposed to set up since you are afraid and you know that if Cotto fights DLH and wins Mayweather will have no excuse not to fight him.. and y'all are scared for Floyd.. you don't want him to get in the ring with Cotto.. If you scared you scared.. just don't front and say it.Comment

I see a lot of dumb ass Floyd boys calling Cotto and his fans hypocrites for wanting him to fight De La Hoya.. why do you want Cotto to fight him but not Mayweather? Ugh, simple.. because Floyd already fought him once and beat him.. there is no point in a rematch!!
There is a point in a Cotto vs. DLH fight though, it brings more exposure to Miguel Cotto and puts him in the spotlight like it did Floyd and generates more interest for Mayweather vs. Cotto to fight!! No one was against the first Mayweather De La Hoya fight in the first place.. I think the majority of us can agree looking at it now that though it did nothing for Mayweather's record and legacy (like it wont do nothing for Cotto's) It did put him in the spot light however.
When history looks back at these champions the De La Hoya fights will be of little to no significance career wise since he is old other then the fact that it got two champions who otherwise wouldn't of been as well known exposure.
The De La Hoya Cotto fight isn't about legacy and has no legacy value at this point of Oscar's career IMO but that isn't what the fight is about..
It's about getting Cotto up there so Mayweather can stop being a little girl and saying he isn't well known and doesn't have a fan base etc.. and get him to fight...
I know he is retired now but if this fight is made and this fight is won by Cotto.. I can almost guarantee Floyd comes out of retirement to fight him.
If he doesn't then.. well at least it gets Cotto exposure and makes his fights and the welterweight fights he is in more views and by doing so also exposes the audience to the other welterweights in the division.Comment

Based on that logic then no rematches should be made, but we saw what happened in the Williams/Quintana rematch didnt we. Only reason Cotto should have fought Oscar is so he could become known to the fans which would have gotten his PPV numbers up and that still is the only reason he should fight him then Floyd will come back and tax him....
only May ain't taxin' Cotto.. it's the other way around.Comment
