Vernon Forrest: "Hey Mora, Read The Fine Print"

Vernon Forrest has come out swinging when reading reports that Sergio Mora is calling out fighters like Oscar De La Hoya. Forrest has advised BoxingScene.com that he exercised the rematch clause from their fight contract and Mora is legally bound to fight him next. Forrest says the two of them will square off for the second time in September. Last Saturday, Mora won a majority decision over Forrest to capture the WBC junior middleweight title. [details]

Vernon really needs to pull out a much better showing if he secures a rematch. If he doesn't he will be completely finished and will have done a huge amount of damage to his legacy IMO.

Sergio Mora is alot better than people think he is. And his biggest asset is his mindset. He doesnt overestimate his own abilities or underestimate his opponents. There was a time when Mora turned down a fight with jermaine taylor because he didnt think he could win. He used the time to become much more polished. If he goes up against Forrest again there wont be a trilogy.
