    Pavlik-Lockett 1.1 Million Viewers... Good?

Got them from ****************** via the Nielsen Ratings. According to these numbers, it is had the lowest viewers ever for a WCB telecast, it beat out Kessler-Calzaghe which had 1.6 million.

What do you all believe from these numbers?

Can't go wrong with those British supporters. Too bad we don't have supporters like that in the states. Too busy stuffing their faces.

            man thats horrible!

and it was a fight to showcase him and only got that many viewers?

that goes to show that ARUM hasnt been marketing and pitching him well...arum spends most of his time trying to hype up Pacquiao and Cotto.

pavlik should be getting at least 4 million views since he is american gentleman.

for once, i agree with you and its making me sick.

Pavlik may very well be the fighter that brings boxing back to the mainstream. Top Rank really needs to hire a PR person because they aren't cutting it.

It's Gary Lockett's fault....Nobody ever heard of him....We all knew Pavlik would destroy Lockett.

There were other fights too on the same night....Mora/Forrest and Quintana/Williams II.

I don't think it's a coincidence cards like Pavlik-Lockett, Cotto-Gomez, and Kessler-Calzaghe all had subpar ratings, being that they all went head to head with Showtime cards the same night.

If HBO and Showtime keep putting on fights at the same time, what should they expect?

Didn't Cotto vs Gomez also do around 1.1 million viewers?
