Boof: Some good fights on ESPN 2 tonight.

Sechew Powell is fighting a decent guy. Undercard looks good also.

    By Matt Thompson
Tonight at the Hard Rock Café in Times Square, Sechew "The Iron Horse" Powell (23-1, 14 KOs) will be returning home, fighting in New York City for the first time since defeating Ishe Smith in February '07. Powell - the #1 and mandatory challenger in the IBF - faces the hard-hitting Deandre "The Bull" Latimore (18-1, 15 KOs) of St. Louis in the main event of ESPN2 Wednesday Night Fights.

i see an upset in the quillin fight..

first it was "rugged mexican guys" pulling the upsets

now the new trend is "colombian knockout punchers"
this guy hasn't fought anyone of note.. but his nickname IS "Mister Knockout" and Quillin has been put in with very weak opponents

Kid Chocolate needs to make a statement tonight. He's an excellent prospect but his last fight exposed some of the crudeness his style has. He's very strong, probably more super middle than middle, but he relies more on his strength than his skill. He needs to work on using that jab to not smother himself.

I wrote a post last week about these guys. I didn't go in depth though.

While it's very possible, I'm reserving going out on a limb until I see something from him first.
