Paul Williams is an ordinary fighter as far as im concerned he has all the tools to be one of the best fighters out there but he does not have the brain to know how to maximise them

he is a Southpaw with the reach of a HW who seems to have a grannit chin ,and he can punch quite decent and he has one the highest workrates in World Boxing yet with all these tools

he just comes foward throwing punches with no method or thought process what so ever

Seriously though, I'd think Cotto would pick Williams off with jabs all night and eventually get a late KO or wide decision. Unless he wobbles Cotto and can be the first to actually finish him. I still think Cotto wins this match up though.

Williams has a long enough reach to worry me. But Cotto would KO him probably just like everybody else. If you can't stun Cotto you're in trouble, if you can't stun Cotto and finish him - you're super in trouble. Nobody has been able to do the latter. I don't think Williams has the technical skill to put Cotto in a bad place that he can't come back from.
