Yes... he will remain undefeated, miraculously become the next President, find the cure for AIDS and Cancer, and will achieve immortality and will live in the minds of their nuthuggers for eternity...
...
Now to correctly answer your question, no, he will no longer be undefeated come July 27th.Comment

Yeah not to turn this into Cotto vs. Mayweather...but common sense says Floyd will be back to take a swing at Cotto or Marg.Comment

I know, it was. In all honesty (I'm gonna get a lot of **** for this) I think Judah would've taken him out in the 1st round if it wasnt for the low blows. No, I'm not a Cotto-Hater or anything of that nature.Comment

I think its very likely he will have at least one loss on his record.
Not because he's not a world class boxer...
It's because miguel cotto consistantly seeks to fight the very best fighters he can face off against so eventually i believe if he keeps hunting down the very best he will lose. its only natural.
I see Cotto getting past Margarito. Cotto is the superior boxer and margarito is a wildman who uses 1200+ punches a fight and has an iron chin...however i think cotto can counter margarito and keep him at bay with the jab and slowly pick margarito apart as he attempts to get off with wild combinations without using the jab to get inside or back outside.
margarito can still win and im not counting him out completely because of cotto and margarito stand in the center of the ring and go toe to toe its very likely that margarito can/will crack cotto's chin...so if cotto's ego/pride gets the best of him he could lose...but if he uses his brain i say cotto in a tough and brutal fight by decision.
However i see Oscar De La Hoya as the true test here.
Oscar is no margarito; oscar de la hoya can counterpunch VERY well and has one of the best left hooks in the sport. Despite oscar being much older and out of his prime i dont think cotto will be able to hang his hat on (like floyd did) that oscar will fade down the stretch.
If oscar's fight with forbes was any indication as to his stamina/endurance and how well its improved then cotto is going to have to be very smart and fight a boxer's fight...not a war because oscar would counter him well and probably wear him out with counter hooks...
that is a close fight in which i cant choose a winner.
However if cotto gets past both margarito and oscar im confident that he will continue to fight the very best competition and im sure somewhere down the line someone will either land a good shot to end the fight (cotto's chin isnt terrible but not the best either); wont be on his gameplan; or simply wont be the best fighter that night.
I think cotto has a very good chance to unify the titles at 147 if he gets past margarito and oscar...that doesnt leave many fighters left that i think he would have trouble winning against.Comment
