I know the fight is for the WBA belt but the WBA had moved Miranda to the number 2 contender position so if Kessler had fought Miranda, that fight would have been for the belt too.

Pavlik should be ranked higher than Kessler right now for his recent accomplishments (wins over Taylor and Miranda) but who is really the better fighter? That's hard to say unless they actually fight against each other.

It is said that they have similar styles, I don't really think so. It would be interesting to see.

I dont really think a win over Miranda counts for that much. He hasn't got any wins over quality opposition. I agree that the Taylor wins were great. But that's only one fighter.
