I was having too much fun with my friends and getting drunk to be a loser and score the fight at a party.. people who have friends don't sit there and score fights during fight partys.. do you know what friends are? not the imaginary kind or the internet kind... real friends? You probably don't.

Gomez is a better fighter than Hatton hands down
If they both fought at Welter Hatton would get beat, Lazcano another Journeymen Hand picked by Hatton stunned Hatton and had him wobbly.
Gomez has more boxing skill than Hatton as well. Hatton is overrated and simply 1 dimensional brawler.

That's like asking why Roy Jones Jr. didn't fight Lennox Lewis or Wladimir Klitschko in 2003.
Your expectations are absurd. You set absurd standards, which aren't really standards at all.
Pavlik is a big, powerpunching middleweight brute. There is a ceiling to any fighter's talents. Floyd has already done more than Miguel Cotto will ever do.
Unless they are the size of Valuev but blessed with a Floyd Mayweather Jr. skillset. Which is a physical impossibility.
Give him six or seven more years and I guarantee he will have done as much if not more because unlike Mayweather, he actually isn't afraid to fight anybody and everybody.
When it's all said and done, we will know what was Cotto's full potential beig matched up against the best but we will never truly know Floyd's since he has fought weak champions since jr. welter.

I know a win is a win but we're talking about Oscar...
I don't think the G.O.A.T would be within a point of Oscar...
Do you?
What was your fight score???
Oscar won no more then 4 rounds.

He obviously thinks it is a completely outland-ish statement, because he started this thread.
Yet many of the impartial agree...which demonstrates how little he knows bout wha gwan.

I thought the fight was convincing enough for him to get the win. If I rewatch it I'll send you the scorecard though I doubt it since that fight put a lot of people to sleep.
It still doesn't change the fact he won by a point... why don't you go check online and see what the official scorecards were.. go ahead, I will wait! Then you tell me by how much he won..
