    Oscar De La Hoya’s 5th Annual FIGHT NIGHT @ SUNDANCE SQUARE

    SUNDANCE SQUARE (FT. WORTH, TEXAS) --- Oscar De La Hoya’s 5th Annual FIGHT NIGHT @ SUNDANCE SQUARE, presented by Cerveza TECATE, returns to downtown Fort Worth this Friday night, June 13th, starting at 6:30 pm. The event is being promoted by De La Hoya’s, Golden Boy Promotions.

    Seven fights are scheduled (beginning at 6:30 pm) at the temporary stadium erected at the Chisholm Trail Mural parking lot, located at the corner of 3rd and Houston St. The event will be nationally televised on theTelefutura Network's, Solo Boxeo.

    Slated for the main event is #9 World Ranked Welterweight, David Lopez (34-12, Phoenix, AZ). Lopez, who has won 15 straight fights, will face off with undefeated Michael Walker (18-0-2, [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]Chicago[/COLOR][/COLOR], IL) in a ten-round Welterweight contest.

    Former National Amateur Champion and undefeated Jr. Welterweight prospect, [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]Rock[/COLOR][/COLOR] Allen (10-0, Philadelphia, PA) will headline an exciting undercard when he takes on up-and-coming, Ramon Duran (14-2-1, Dominican Republic), in the Semi-Main Event.

    Three, highly regarded Fort Worth fighters will be on the card, including Vanessa Juarez, Chapp Huggins and Joey Dunmoodie.

    TICKETS for FIGHT NIGHT @ SUNDANCE SQUARE are priced at $20 (GA), $35 (Reserved) and $100 VIP, plus service charges. VIP Tickets include a VIP Pre-Fight Reception (complimentary food/drink) at City Streets Nightclub, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Ticket are available at Central Ticket Office (1007 Commerce St, downtown Fort Worth). They can also be purchased online at www.centralticketoffice.com or by phone at 817-335-9000.

    The undefeated (8-0) Juarez, a 9-time Women’s National Amateur Champion, will put her world ranking on the line against Caitlin Dance (2-1, Louisville, KY) in a 4-round Jr. Featherweight bout. Dance is substituting for Juarez’ original opponent, Brooke Dierdorff, who pulled out of the bout after suffering a broken nose in training.

    Huggins, a 3-time Texas Golden Gloves Champion, will be making his pro debut against San Antonio’s, Diego Mireles. The 4-round Jr. [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]Middleweight[/COLOR][/COLOR] fight will be Mireles pro debut, also.

    Dunmoodie (2-1-1), will square off against Valentino Jalomo (2-3-1, Amarillo) in a 4-rounder in the Super Middleweight division.

    Also scheduled on the card are former National Amateur Champion and now top pro prospects -- Daniel Jacobs and Jermell Charlo.

    Jacobs (6-0, Brooklyn, NY) is set to battle 4-rounds in the Middleweight division against Leo Perez (5-8-2, Mission, TX).

      Jacobs is fighting someone with actually more then 2 wins lol. It's a setup! I hope he faces someone with a winning record soon.

      Also David Lopez is a middleweight isn't he?
