          He got kicked in the face. Maybe his jaw got ****ed up IDK, but he was 92 years old. He also took a dive or two, like against shannon brigs.

          You're right about Toney also, thought I have seen him hurt.

                    The greatest chin in boxing belonged to Battling Nelson. I doubt many with historical knowledge will argue that. 133 official fights maybe over 200 unofficially. KO'ed only once and that was back in the days of fights of 40+ rounds. He was stopped more times, but that was by the ref. or the public for saving him from further punishment.

                    The guy is in my avatar. He was the toughest of them all.
