Peter Manfredo Jr vs Floyd Mayweather Jr @ 168

This is a good one I think. Manfredo doesn't hit amazingly hard and although he has the size advantage, he isn't that good.

At least Manfredo don't retire every time other people in his division gets attention.

It would be an interesting fight in terms of style/size etc.

but floyd would still win by wide UD in my opinion.

manfredo is b-level at best i think...he cant hang with the elite...

Manfredo is a small SMW but Floyd is a small WW.

I get that you're trying to suggest a fighter that Floyd could probably move up in weight and effectively fight, but unfortunately just how pointless this fight would be in every possible way makes it hard for me to understand the speculation. I mean, Manfredo offers nothing in the way of money- and even less in terms of respect. Floyd would be crucified for leaving the welterweight division to move up- and not even to fight a beast like Pavlik, to fight a fringe contender like Manfredo?

Even without being the biggest puncher Manfredo still is a much, much bigger man and I could still see Mayweather needing to be careful due to the extreme size advantage of his opponent. He'd have to fight cautiously and then, when he won a decision because there's no chance in hell he could hurt someone so large- he'd get ass ****d by the boxing media for a poor performance.
