If he says Calzaghe hits hard, Calzaghe hits hard.

Watch those other 3 vids there, in particular the 3rd.
I'm trying to download no.3. It wants a password. Do you have it?

Calzaghe also has a problem with his wrist and was told after the Manfredo fight he may never fight again since he fractured the scaphoid bone in his wrist. That's one of the hardest bones to heal and after Joe retires he will need a bone graft to correct that problem.

The scaphoid is the most frequently fractured carpal bone, accounting for 71% of all carpal bone fractures. Scaphoid fractures often occur in young and middle-aged adults, typically those aged 15-60 years.

          Ok.

More of the same. Sheer volume flattens the poor guy, who actually doesnt throw a punch back in anger....

Nothing has convinced me that you could call Calzaghe a puncher in the strict sense of the word. He is a volume-puncher. And thats it. Try check Kessler's kayo of Beyer. Thats SMW power!

On another note: Try watch that video again (which btw is in excellent quality). Joe hits a lot more clean shots than later in his career. Some very fine bodywork and headshots landing with the knuckles and not the palm.

I just watched Kessler - Beyer tonight actually, and yes it was an excellent KO. The Mundine fight was a good fight as well. Looking at Kessler's recent resume I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Mundine, Beyer and Andrade especially are good wins, and I was wondering about the context of some of them. Who was expected to win? What did they each mean for Kessler's career, stuff like that. People always say Kessler hasn't beaten anyone, but I think they'd be pretty pleased if someone like Pavlik had taken out those three!

I'm preparing a thread of that aspect actually. At least in my head

Hope to finally post it tomorrow (unless some ****** posters keep coming up with excellent subjects so my time goes posting in those threads instead..... )

Check Kessler's last 6 fights. Thats an impressive resumée.
