Same goes for DLH vs Pernell. Are we going to discuss what should've been or what happend? Becasue your jumping back and forth is confusing.

I'm not saying DLH didn't have a great career but its not as good as Trinidads.

Popularity doesn't make someone better just more popular. DLH is a good at self promoting but he didn't have a better career than Trinidad.

Quartey went MIA after his DLH fight and Mosley went up after Trinidad went to jrMW. You can't hold fault Trinidad for not fighting them.

I think Trinidad has the better legacy but DLH will be remembered by more people.

Popularity doesn't contribute to who is a better fighter, but it does affect their legacy. ODLH has done more for the game, been in more big fights, and is still relevant today.

Mike Tyson was many many times more popular than Larry Holmes but does that mean that Mike Tyson has a better Legacy than Larry Holmes?

Gatti is more popular than Casamayor does that mean that Gatti has a better Legacy than Casa?

I said it adds to it. ODLH and Tito were about as close at it gets in terms of ability. ODLH's other qualities push him above Tito when it comes to legacy.

Tito's popularity is very close as well. Not as large but close when you look at the numbers he had vs Hopkins, Vargas and even as late as RJJ you can see that he is very popular.

I don't deny that. Tito was a very popular and beloved by all of PR. But, ODLH is the type of star that comes along once in a generation.

On a side note, I was a fan of DLH before the Tito fight, and a detractor since.
