Mike Tyson, "I don't like Floyd Mayweather"

    -------------

Holmes Takes a Jab at the Boxing World:
On boxing then vs. now: "Boxing was better then as far as fights. Now guys are making more money and can't fight. I have a lot of respect for (Floyd) Mayweather, but he's the kind of guy I wouldn't want my fighter to be like."

    -------------

Foreman: In a recent interview conducted by Andrew Haigh and published this past weekend by thesun.co.uk, Heavyweight Living legend, George Foreman dissed Floyd Mayweather Jr., branding Mayweather a 'nobody' and a 'chicken'.

According to the report by the The Sun, Foreman hates Mayweather's king of bling image. Foreman also insists that Mayweather is too scared to slug it out in big fights.

Although Mayweather defeated Hatton with a tenth round KO this past Saturday. Foreman was backing Ricky Hatton to defeat Mayweather, saying: "I love Hatton and I hope he really beats up Mayweather."

Foreman added: "But who is Mayweather? He's a nobody."

"When he was young he was a loveable little fella but something went wrong and changed inside him. Now he is always cursing and bad-mouthing other fighters. The guy deserves an Oscar for some of the stuff he says."

Foreman isn't even impressed with the title of Pound-for-pound best for Mayweather, stating:"There is no way I would consider him to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

"He is good but he made a fool of himself against Oscar De La Hoya. He was in the greatest fight of his career and he just ran and ran like a chicken.

"De La Hoya brought that fight to him all night but I didn't like his style and the way he approached the fight.I thought he was very lucky to win it on points."

Floyd fought Oscar OFF THE ROPES and IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING..he didn't run you lying twat.

That was Floyd's FIRST fight at 154..THAT TOOK BALLS.

Castillo II was an IMMEDIATE rematch..and he won that fight by putting those things on Castillo..not by running.

If Cotto has so much courage WHY DIDN'T HE DEMAND A FIGHT WITH MAYWEATHER???

Why all the stuttering and stammering when they asked him about fighting Floyd?

Cotto saw what happened to Hatton when he called out Mayweather..so he decided to keep his mouth shut
You isolate all the important points with nice slashing counters --- good work.

That's how you know dude has been watching boxing for like three months. Anyone following the sport would know those things. I keep saying that there is a difference between being a fan of boxing and watching all the fights you can and following around one guys career.

I knew all these quotes existed. What I was laughing at was you using Tyson, Holmes, and Foreman to support your point.

it proves Floyd Mayweather gains no respect in the trade among other great fighters ,Roy is not disliked by so many ex fighters i dare say there are a few that dislike him for what ever reason but on the whole he is well respected by ex Proffesionals
