I hold Floyd to those standards because of the standards *****'s hold Cotto too. Never an ounce of praise or credit for ****. Just same three, "He has no chin" and "He was on ***** street against Torres" and "He hasn't fought anyone". Please, if you honestly read that article and don't think it's a pile of bull **** to pick apart Floyd's resume like it's a piece of **** then you're blind. You can dislike the guy all you want, but to not acknowledge his abilities and such is simply a farce so that you can argue about something, despite knowingly being in the wrong.

Here's the reality. Floyd would make Cotto look like an idiot in the ring.

If his retirement is genuine, he's doing right by himself and the sport.

If his retirement is just a ruse, he will make more history.

But damn, how many retirements have been permanent in this sport?

What weight is he overrated at? He's maybe the best ever at 130, one of the best ever at 135, maybe one of the best at 140 although he didn't prove it (the Hatton fight shows what he is capable of there I believe though)...and no one I know really rates him all-time at 147 or 154...if Floyd had stayed at 135 or 140, he'd have beaten everyone that has come along since he left....would he still be overrated?

i indeed agree, flod has skills and talent yes but he is overrated IMO,
his resume does not convince a whole lot
