Opinions?

Though I love Pavlik I don't think Loew is going to be a top trainer, of course people in Youngstown act like he's god's gift to boxing, but Kelly has talent and that's why he's doing this good. Not saying Loew isn't a good trainer but I don't think he'll ever be at the top ranks like the Mayweathers, Roach, Stewart, etc.

Manny Stewart rode Tommy Hearns to training superstardom...if Pavlik keeps winning, then Loew has choices to make. He could go the Stewart and Roach route, taking on guys who are already champions and "fixing" their flaws...or he could build a serious amateur program and build a system there in Youngstown.

Because I think it's Kelly's talent that he's riding. He's a good trainer that's it. I don't believe he'll be a great trainer.

Right, but there has to be something that makes you think he is only a good trainer. Is there something that he has done that you don't like or is this just a random opinion?

Just a random opinion. I think Kelly has a TON of talent that has got him where he is.

Loew and Pavlik work well together, that's what matters.

Loew doesn't have any other top fighter under his stable that I can think of, it would be interesting to see how he does with another fighter.
