Is Floyd just setting up a fight with Cotto?

Is Floyd's retiring just a stunt to make a Superfight with Cotto even bigger? Similar to the way SRL did the same thing to generate hype. Plse give your opinion on Floyd's rationale for retiring.

        I don't think so...

No matter how much he could hype the Cotto fight, it wouldn't make as much as fighting Oscar again.

That really makes me think that he is done.

Yeah but me may be willing to make a comprimise between his wallet and his legacy at this point. He knows that if he lets Cotto get much more attention he'll begin taking some of PBF's credit.. Someone else vote.

lol his retirement has nothing to do with Miguel Cotto really. When you've had almost a hundred amateur fights, and 40 professional fights, doing it since you were born, you're 31 now, and really nobodies came close to beating you, it's very hard to find the desire and determination to continue when you've made hundreds of millions of dollars, you need something new to give you that fire back.

More like is Floyd truly a coward by saying this then after the guy called in the bluff he ***** runs and retires.

Now that's a more clarified position.

And Fake Floyd has no legacy to speak of.

beating a blown-up Hatton and a shot DLH then *****-retiring isn't much of a legacy.

                Plain and basic common sense.

I'm pretty sure he's not scared and his legacy isn't complete and finally there is no better way for him to satisfy his money obsession and his legacy any faster than a megabout with Cotto.. Boxers love to come out of retirement. There's no way PBF is just gonna ride his segway around for the rest of his years.
