rubio is a guy who got 1st round ko'd by one of floyds sparring partners. he got his name on the map by ko'ing zertuche, a year after pavlik did it. he has a good record because he ko's alotta bums. arum thinks rubio will be a showcase fight to get alot of mexicans to like pavlik. maybe hes right.

Yessssss. Aside from Pavlik-Calzaghe, this would be awesome for Kelly's career. As others said, the hype alone would be sick. I'd love to see Pavlik actually genuinely dislike an opponent for once, although I like Mayorga. The **** that Mayorga talks is second to none, and he isn't afraid to throw bombs either, so it would be a slugfest. Pavlik KO 4.

Why Mayorga? The only success Mayorga has had at any weight above 154 was beating up a shot Vargas. Pavlik is way too big for Mayorga, who has been a shadow since moving up from 147.

Mayorga is a safe fight for most champions because he doesn't train.

I love Mayorga, he's one of my favorites and he'll fight anyone, anytime. p4p best **** talker too. I don't like the size differential, I feel Pavlik is too big. Should be interesting regardless.
