    Maybe if I simplify:

    154 compared to 130 is 24 pounds.

You can see in the odh/pacman picture I posted, there is a huge difference not just in weight but their actual frames. I'm not saying hopkins wasn't bigger the odh either, I know he was, but the difference wasn't anything like a 130 pounder fighting a jr middleweight.

When they fought Oscar already filled out as he aged, he was a natural 154 pounder, it doesn't matter what he started his career at. Like I said Pacman started at 107 that doesn't mean he's naturally 107 pounds.
Which is why I said a catchweight of 148 lbs, and didn't mention anything about 154 lbs. I understand that both are bigger men next to each other but what I really dont get is why people get offended when someone say Hopkins was a huge middleweight, as ive said something wrong. he literally lived inside a gym to control his diet properly, he was a hard worker and a gym rat.

    Hopkins at Middleweight:

Anyway the fight is pointless, I would rather see Oscar face the winner of Cotto-Margarito.

I'm not getting mad homie at you saying hopkins was a big middleweight, my one issue was comparing ODH to Hopkins the same as Pacquaio to ODH, which is what I'm in disagreement with you on.

I'm with you anyways, ODH vs Cotto/Margarito

I hope to God those fight aren't made. Because both those guys DLh is bigger than. I would much rather see DLH fight the Cotto/Margarito winner and actually wouldn't mind to see him fight Mora. I know that sounds funny, but it makes sense. Both guys are from East LA and Mora is somewhat known by the casual fan from the Contender series. Also it's definitely a winnable fight for Oscar and Mora by the way he looked this weekend could be competitive. After that fight Oscar can go for all the marbles against hopefully Cotto.

I'm starting to think it will be Mora too. I mean if ODH wants to fight twice, he can beat Mora no problem then go out against Cotto.

Only thing though is Forrest has the right to an immediate rematch with Mora, so I'm not sure how that will play out.

I'm not saying you but I have seen others on this forum that do, lets just agree to disagree on this issue, although I do think all three of them have a huge size different among them and neither fight should have happened regardless of which size difference was bigger/smaller (dlh-hopkins, dlh-pacquiao).

If Forrest wanted that immediate rematch would Mora have to take it? Because if he didn't have to and if I was him, I would say **** the belt and take the fight with Oscar.

i am a pacfan but what the **** is this gonna prove anyway? pac is too small for dela hoya. also it would hurt dela hoya's image beating the living **** out of pacquiao. this is just crap. i want oscar dela hoya to fight the winner of margarito or cotto. that's what i want to see before he retires.

Yeah exactly. Plus the exposure for him would be huge and even if he didn't win, but put a good and competitive performance he wouldn't have any trouble finding good fights. I'll admit I wasn't a big Mora fan before his peformance Saturday, but the guy showed heart and determination. So Im looking forward to watching him fight again.
