I was researching some background info on him in order to come to a conclusion whether or not he had any hidden agenda behind his refereeing job in the Abraham-Miranda first fight.

From what I could tell, Neumann had no agenda. He's from NJ and not German-based. The head butt in which Miranda had two points deducted was a clear as daylight intentional foul.

You get 5 minutes to recover from a foul or you forfeit the fight. Neumann told Abraham's corner that you cannot bail out of the fight because of "cuts on your lip" so Abraham had to continue or he would lose by TKO.

The low blows appeared low to me so from what I can see Neumann did OK.
