True, Arum has MUCH BIGGER PLANS for JML instead of this guy. You could c it on Arum's face in the post fight

u know some think that JML is to green for the likes of vazquez and marquez but the truth is that after their trilogy, both guys r probably done for. It is DEFINITELY CLEAR that Juanma has developed above average power for the division

gerry penalosa would be difficult since he fights like winky wright...I think penalosa is probably the greatest filipino boxer too bad he suffered robberies especially against de leon.

he might not be exciting like pacquiao but the guy is a helluva technician.

Gerry Penalosa is one of the best ring tech's in the world. I would love to see junama fight gerry. I think juanma is too big for him, but he could learn in that fight. Penalosa took johnny gonzalez out with a body shot. Now i know gerry lost to PDL, but that was a close fight too. A bit of a risk, but juanma should be up for it.

it would be a very high risk low reward fight...

that would be disastrous. Juanma is a future p4p star, moving him up that fast wouldn't end well.

Penalosa is the perfect next step up. It would be an awsome fight, and i believe Penalosa is a champ.

This fight should be made. Credit Penalosa for wanting to fight a much younger fighter then himself.

Juanma would kick his ass though.
