Ozell Nelson Speaks on a Jermain Taylor vs. Jeff Lacy Clash

I really hope Jermain can rid himself of the bad ending he had at middleweight and fill the void at super middleweight Calzaghe vacated. I think he can rule that division if he stays smart and hungry.

I really hope Lacy can pull a win back, he's a wasted talent I actually regret him facing Calzaghe. His confidence and ability seem to have disappeared since that bout.

Both fighters have peaked and are on the downslope. Lacy a little lower than Taylor.

To me, Lacy is the wild card in this fight. I want to know two things: How healthy is Lacy's rotator cuff/shoulder, and can he comfortably make 168 pounds. Lacy had been talking to Tarver about fighting at 175 pounds for a title, which might be where Lacy is best suited.

Taylor has an edge because his weight is 168 pounds, which is where they'd fight if they fight. Also, he has no injuries of note.
