Casamayor and his controversial decisions

This guy has had a lot of them hasn't he:

-Acelino Freitas
-Jose Luis Castillo
-Diego Corrales bout 2
-Nate Campbell
-Kid Diamond
-Jose Santa Cruz

I haven't seen all of them. I've seen Diego Corrales 2 and Jose Luis Castillo. Oh and Santa Cruz's Here's how I scored them:

Diego Corrales vs Joel Casamayor 2: I thought Corrales pulled this out in a 115-112 score. I thought it was quite clear he won, but I found it sickening how Al berstein had this like 10-2 for Corrales.

Jose Luis Castillo vs Joel Casamayor: This I had a draw, but could see Casamayor getting the decision much more then Castillo. The first 3 rounds went to Casamayor. Then the next 3 went to Castillo. Then from 7 Casamayor won, then they switched off rounds. Castillo the 8th, Casamayor the 9th, etc. Round 4 and 5 I think it was could have gone to Casamayor.
116-112 for Castillo was shameful. 117-111 for Castillo is blasphemous.

Jose Santa Cruz vs Joel Casamayor: Big time robbery here. Casamayor only won like 2 rounds.

Fretias vs him is on thrusday on classic. Does the Nate Campbell's fight vs him even exist on tape?

I thought he lost to Corrales in the second fight and Santa Cruz, the Castillo fight could've gone either way. The rest, I thought he won.

Beat Kid Diamond in a close fight, even knocked him down. Deserved to win.

Lost to Castillo fairly handily in a close fight. Castillo swept the late rounds (9 was close, Castillo takes 10,11,12 to be fair). I wouldn't have been shocked if Joel got the decision, but I thought Castillo clearly deserved it. Casamayor would land one, or two flashy shots and then step back and admire his handy-work. Deserved to lose.

Beat Corrales all three times, but the second fight was either way. The decision is fair. Deserved to win.

Lost closely to Freitas. Deserved to lose.

Got dominated and knocked down against Santa Cruz. Deserved to lose

Closely beat Campbell. Deserved to win.

3-3 in those fights FOR ME. just my opinions.

I thought Casamayor clearly won the 9th and it was a pretty one sided round except for the end. He also pulled out round 11.

I stepped on and off the Casamayor bandwagon so fast that I didn't get a chance to see a bunch of those fights.

I did see Freitas, and thought he won. He made Freitas look terrible in the late rounds.

I mean... he CLEARLY lost the Santa Cruz fight. Only that hick ass idiot on youtube thinks otherwise.

I did see Freitas, and thought he won. He made Freitas look terrible in the late rounds.

Hahaha I remember him trying to tell me at another forum that Casamayor won that fight. He still believes it too. That guy is the biggest Zab and Casamayor fan ever.

Also I'm surprised you didn't hop back on with the Katsidis fight. That was a wonderful fight to watch. The corrales triology is entertaining too. Casamayor Castillo was very exciting towards the end. He can be a very exciting fighter when he wants to be.

I find him boring as hell. Even when the Showtime *******s called Casamayor-Corrales I a FOTY candidate, I was shocked. Casamayor's circling around teh ring just kills me. UGH.

But seriously, the Katsidis fight makes me realize that Casamayor doesn't have **** left. He is the second coming of Arturo Gatti and was leading on the scorecards before Casmayor knocked him out. That is ****ing pathetic.

Do you honestly know what caught my eye and made me decide to give the guy a try as someone I like? I watched him take out some bum on ESPNClassic, and he actually looked really good in that fight, and he was wearing the slickest ass looking Cuban flag trunks. That is one thing I love about the Cubans. They have a flag that turns into badass trunks.
