Not convincingly enough, Margarito started to tap that Samolian ass in the later rounds. Tony will win in a rematch.

so is he supposed to rematch everyone that he ko's. sounds kind of backwards to me. plus im sure if torres moved to 147 cotto would rematch him and give him the beating of a lifetime. there is a difference between ducking someone and ko'ing them and moving on to bigger(weight class) and better(quintana, zab, mosley, magarito) things.

The fight was action packed and close enough while it lasted to be called for a rematch. Not to mention that Torres took the fight on a 3 week notice...

Shalafi I just figured I would take this time out to remind you that there are 42 days until Cotto KO's Margarito. A rematch with Torres would be a waste. Cotto has taken and will continue to take the fast track to the top. KO everyone they put in front of you so there is no question who the ****ing man is. If you get KO'd in your first fight a rematch isn't necessary especially against the likes of Torres. I know your hate for Cotto blinds you from making any intelligent analysis but try to keep up.

williams should get the wbc belt vacated by gayweather, and target cotto to become the undisputed welterweight champion.

i really dont think that it was a close fight, while it was an action paked fight if you look at cottos fights then you know all his fights are action packed. plus i think as an active fighter the short notice will affect both fighters not just torres. cotto made that fight hard for himself and honestly a rematch would have been even worse for torres.

Cotto couldn't even hurt Old man Mosley..and had to run in the last rounds.

All Williams has to do is stay behind his jab and PICK COTTO OFF AS HE REACHES IN.

Arum won't let Cotto anywhere near Williams..I bet you that.

I don't think he's gonna get any of those fights. Mosley's not dumb enough to take the fight. I'm sure he wants to go out with a victory. If Cotto beats Marg he's done until December because Oscar will make that fight happen. If Marg loses there's no need for the rematch. Especially since he lost the first fight convincingly.
