Boxings biggest problem is its ranking of fighters. Every now and then you get a Quintana who might get an upset. Luis Collazo never beat a top 10 before he got a title shot. Neither did david Estrada. One poster i used to talk to said shane beat 2 top 10 welters. I said, "top 10 welters"!!!??? Shouldn't a fighters have to beat at least 1 top 10 contender before he gets a shot. Now Quintana beat joe julio, and i forget his ranking, but most of us said joel was young when he lost, and stuck between fighting at junior middle and welter. It is the ranking system. If we had better rankings, we would get better fights.
For some time now, prospects are rushed the minute they look like superman and the gulabal rockie boxing fan belives the hype thinking this prospect is superman.
All Quintanna did was beat Julio. A fight that was between two prospects. And because of thta Quintanna got a title shot. Almost the same with Wililams.Comment

First of all he had an immediate rematch clause, so that's a start. Second of all he was outboxed not outclassed, he wasn't hurt or dropped once. Third he wasn't knocked out viciously in one round and left before they even announced the winner. So stick with that for now.Comment

Explain why he deserved a rematch? He was a champion who lost a close decision. Many thought Williams had an off night. Quintana is a man who lost in less than a round. If the public wants to see a rematch, and there is a rematch clause which i don't know if there was one, why wouldn't Williams have deserved a rematch. You didn't want to see Quintana give Williams a rematch?Comment
