To those that bring up the Byrd fight, have you had a torn shoulder, I mean ever?
To those that bring up the Lewis fight, did Klitchko quit, and wasn't it the side of the glove that tore up Vitaly's eye!? That very same punch did not even phase Klitchko but the sharpness of the side of the glove cut him.
Has Vitaly been even down? I don't remember. Has he been hurt, maybe a little against Lennox from an uppercut.
Vitaly is a monster. If it weren't for the injuries he'd likely be undefeated. Tough luck though.Comment

the problem is it's this ERA. he beat sanders to get his belt for god's sake. he's a part time golfer! although he did eagle wlad's hole......heavyweight in our era. The guys is a certified bad-ass and I've felt all along that he's been one of the most underrated and disrespected heavies of this generation. Why, cause of Chris Byrd, I spit on that argument. Vitaly if healthy will make a mockery of Sam Peter and will stop him ala Danny Williams.
Vitaly has always been less talented than his Wlad but he's also the better fighter with the bigger heart and that mean, vicious personality of his.Comment

I agree it's a weak era in terms of skill but in terms of size it's the biggest ever.
Size does make a difference, remember DLH vs Sturm?Comment

of course. even the lower weight classes are bigger now than they were before.
size does make a difference but only when the skills are equal or close to equal.
sturms size didn't bother oscar. it was sturm's jab. oscar couldn't block a felix jab to save his life.
oscar had problem solving felix's revolutionary , special defense either. you know the defense where you put your hands up and let oscar punch you on the arms?Comment
