Man Cotto AND Marg fought a great fight! I mean, I can't even get mad at the outcome. Cotto threw big shots, but that Marg was walking RIGHT through them and he TOOK COTTO'S HEART AND MANHOOD. Horus you were right on with this thread though...I think the fans on here FOR SURE definitely overhyped him, but he has my respect after his performance and I am still scratching my head thinking how Marg walked through ALLLLLLL of those shots for 11 rounds.....

I watched the fight last night and I think the two best Welterweights were in action , I think Cotto is class be interesting to see how he reacts to this loss , Margarito is just Super Human I have no idea how he was just walking threw Cotto's punches ( He took alot of big ones ) and he just does not slow down as the fight progresses.

After watching the two in action last night - There is no way Mayweather is comming out of retirement to fight anyone of them as he would lose to both IMO ?

Mayweather is an Legend..these two fighters are just in his shadow...proven by the fact you can talk about Margarito or cotto without bringing up Floyd. Floyd ruled his generation...

Cotto is very quick and powerful ( Margarito is just Super Human to walk threw them ) I could not see Mayweather walking through them and I know he is a defence master but he would still get caught by Cotto.

To beat Margarito you have to do what Cotto did the first half of the fight BUT be able to keep it up for the whole 12 rounds as he just does not let up.

You must realize this..The welther weight Division is floyd's 4th Division..

Floyd Genius, is that he has master the basics of boxing especially defense...

So with that being said Floyd would box and move just like he did with baldomir for 12 rounds without being touch..sense Margarito is too slow.
