Is Zsolt Erdei the next Joe Calzaghe?

He is the current WBO Light-heavyweight Champion of the World. He hails from Germany and has fought there the majority of his fights.

He is unbeaten and has now made 10 defenses of his title against second-tier opponents.

I guess the plan is for him to make 8 or 9 more title defenses in the next few years against irrelevant fighters. Then he can claim to have broken the title defenses record and come to America and proclaim himself as the best light-heavyweight once the Dawson's, Johnson's, RJJ's and Tarver's are done fighting each other. His last title defense was against inexperienced 15-1 DeAndrey Abron...

HE IS WELL ON HIS WAY TO BECOMING THE GREATEST 175LB FIGHTER OF ALL TIME.

The German boxingscene posters will love him..

I hope he fights Dawson or Johnson so we can all see how good he really is.

Joe Calzaghe's reign was MUCH better then Zsolt's is. If anything Zsolt is the new Ottke. He's trash.

He wont fight any of those guys. He might fight them if they agree to his terms and come to Germany where he has the judges in his pocket.

At least Calzaghe fought some decent fighters in his defences. Zsolt needs to come to America and prove himself, lets hope he isn't another Ottke.
