Joe Calzaghe's accuracy: Very unimpressive.

Floyd is retired. He can't be counted in any polls or in general statements anymore

Anyway it's hard to compare the accuracy of a potshotting fighter to one who throws in flurries

if you think a good fighter has to have snap then thats your opinion and that fair enough but remember its just your opinion, not fact, i could turn around and say that the p4p 1 has to have the desire to fight the top 10 fighters in his weight divisions (something which mayweather still has to adress and something which calzaghe has done).

calzaghe is an awesome puncher, incredibly accurate and and at times just overwhelming, your judging him on the one fight that he had with bernard and to be honest thats a little bit unfair. he had a a bad night that night and still managed to do enough to win relatively comfortably, when hes on form and hungry hes nigh on unstoppable.

Floyd's retired, but I'm pretty sure Juan Diaz has taken over Floyd's spot as most accurate, and probably +/- % as well.

Mean flurries of slaps? Floyd is the better counter puncher. Come to me when Calzaghe starts punching

Calz showed a looot of respect to Bhop during that fight. He knew, Bhop knew, and everyone watching could tell that Bhop was the harder puncher obviously in that fight. Calz basically got caught offguard in the first round and got dropped. Any moron who knows anything about boxing though, knows that was a flash KD. He was stunned, but he obviously wasn't ready to be finished off. Bhop knew that. Calz was affected by that first KD though, but more in the sense that he was wary of Bhops one punch power.

Just take a look at Bhops gameplan that fight, and what Calz' style is. It's obvious those styles clash. Bhop waits and waits for that perfect one punch counter opportunity. Calz is a volume puncher that likes to take the pace. The thing is for Calz to apply his strategy he had to come in a lot. Which means he's gonna be risking and leaving himself open to counters a lot. I think thats when Calz realized he's gonna have to take a points victory and win an ugly one. That's the great thing about Calz though. He's a boxer straight up. He took the win by any means, even if it meant throwing crap punches with nothing behind them. He was hitting for contact cos he was worried about Bhops power.

Bottom line Calzaghe's slaps are trash but they do score points. Having said that he will get exposed if he fights Pavlick cause Pavlick will just go right after him un-like B Hop and knock him out.. Roy on the other hand has the speed but may have a tough time on points due to all the Calzaghe slaps and lack of power. I just want this damn fight to locked in..
