Briefly....Quintana said there is no excuses. He was in the best shape of his life. Better than the first time they fought. He was very surprised with what happened. He obviously doesnt like losing, but he will fight on. He has to accept the defeat and keep fighting on, stay active, and good things will come again. Hes not sure what to do next, depending on what the promoters want to do with him.

My only gripe is him leaving the ring after the KO. Williams was beat up pretty badly in the first fight and stayed and talked to reporters. He said it best last night "You can't accept winning if you can't accept losing."

Good on him. And I'm still laughing at these cats that predicted the outcome of the fight on WEIGH IN pictures...

Quintana is one of the top fighters in the best division in boxing and he has good wins against Williams and Julio. He lost twice but hey no risk no glory, and both his losses were to tough fighters.

You cant completely erase what he did in the first fight. Quintana got caught coming in from a nice straight left, simple as that. It happens in this sport. He's still a good fighter in a great division. He already bounced back from one brutal KO loss, I'm sure he can do it again.
