Who saw the Mittchell fight then?

was not to impressive, he had a bit of trouble but did what he had to do. I think it was the fact that he only made the trip out 1 week before and was fighting someone who was a tricky southpaw and never knew who he was untill 2 days before the fight.

Doesn't help that he was sparring with orthodox fighters.

He looked impressive going forward when he figured the guy out, although he lacked a little in defense and had trouble with straight lefts, he was eating them all night.

At first I thought it was stopped prematurely, but then after watching the replay he caught him in a very hurtful place and looking at the guy's eyes, he didn't want to know.

The fact that he made no effort to protest and stayed on his tool for a long time afterwards shows that it was in fact the perfect stoppage, the guy would have just got beaten up worse than he had to.

Also, I'm more and more impressed with Mitchell's chin every fight, he took some big shots in there. Now all he needs to do is stop proving he can take those shots, and instead block or move out of the way.
