LOL! Easy pickings??? Unless Izzy were to come out flat like Forrest did last night, it would be a LONG night for Juan Ma. Hey, I LIKE Juan, but I'd still pick Izzy in a heartbeat.

Izzy has proven he can survive in tough fights. Juan Ma hasn't. Rafa is a better technical fighter than Izzy and look at what happened to him...twice.

The jury is still out on Juan as far as I'm concerned. But, I was really impressed with the way he disposed of Ponce.

Celestino Caballero, or move up and try his luck against Robert Guerrero.

Easy pickings!!! Are you for real?

        He should fight Linares first.

The Ponce victory was a bit decieving. two lefties, the angle of the neck makes either vulnerable for the right hook. When Ponce fights an orthadox fighter, he won't have quite the same advantage. Plus Ponce is so wreckless in there, it was just a matter of time before he got clipped like that by a sharp hard puncher. Make no mistake, Juanma's got a great hook, but tonight he was able to showcase it to its max potential.

Now back to the real world, would he be so explosive against Rafa or Izzy??? I think he's got a good chance at winning those two fights, but they will certainly be more interesting and competetive than tonights thrashing, especially the Izzy fight.

That's my point. That argument has more than one side, because that also means that Israel has a few wars on his body, and we all know what boxing wars do to fighters. Juanma is fresh, strong, and most importantly, not ******.

I'm not trying to put down either Israel or Rafael in any way. They are great, but they have probably left the best of them, as boxers, in the ring against each other.

But hey, if you don't think Israel would be an easy picking for Juanma right now, we'll bet come fight time. No hate here.
