      Castillo, twice
      Diego Corrales
      Oscar De La Hoya
      Ricky Hatton
      Genero Hernandez
      Jesus Chavez
      Carlos Hernandez
      Zab Judah
      Arturo Gatti
      Carlos Baldomir

That's 11 world champions on his resume, across 5 divisions. Wow, that was easy.

I mean 1 DEFINING FIGHT, you just said Baldomir?! is a defining fight.

All the greats have had career defining fights, Floyd hasn't.

Threads like this piss me off..

Hes not overrated until hes defeated.. Until then.. Keep your ****ing mouth shut.

He's never lost, and hes overrated? and PBF has fought his share of good fighters.

His destruction of Gatti solidified him as #1 on everyone's P4P list. It also made him a PPV fighter.

It wasn't so much the opponent, it was the manner of which he destroyed Gatti.

And his second career defining fight would be against Oscar De La Hoya. The richest fight in boxing, and has transcended him beyond boxing star status.

If your going to be fussy you can do the same thing to Calzaghes record.

He beat an over the hill Eubank, an unproven overhyped Lacy, an over the hill Hopkins, and one prime fighter in Kessler. This isn't what i think, but Calzaghes record doesn't do his boxing ability justice, so its not exactly his strong point to compare with Mayweather.

mayweather is definitely overrated. especially the more he
puts off fighting cotto the more overrated he becomes.
he beat judah but judah has been past his best for years and years
he fought de la hoya when de la hoya was a senior citizen
he has skills but he has never been tested ... oh yeah he's
also ducking an old mosley. as bob arum says mayweather
does not want to be in a fight where he might lose.
he'd rather act in the WWF or dance with the stars
than to face miguel cotto. sure he had some good wins
when ? in the last decade ... is he doing a rid**** bowe ?
bowe avoided lewis becuase he would lose even throwing the belt in the can
mayweather retires because if he doesn't
he will have to fight cotto. its as simple as that.

Calzaghe has Kessler and Lacy. Notice I don't say Hopkins because it wasn't "career defining" worthy.

                    Mayweather needs Cotto.

Gatti was tough but he was basicall a bum
notice mayweather only wants to fight fighters
like hatton and gatti that have no skill
and just attack ... he won't go in there with someone
with more skill like a mosley or cotto ...
                      that's why he retired ...
